SUPPORTING THE WVSO
HOW CAN I SUPPORT OUR SYMPHONY?
As a non-profit organization, the symphony relies on the support of the entire community. Besides spreading the word to your friends and neighbors about this exciting new time for the WVSO, you can support the symphony by:
Purchasing tickets as gifts for friends.
Joining the symphony’s volunteer guild
Inquiring about board service.
Attending the symphony’s annual events.
Giving a cash donation to the annual fund.
Donating towards the expansion of WVSO’s youth and outreach programs.
Gifting the symphony with assets or making a provision for the orchestra through their endowment fund as part of your estate planning.
Making a direct gift to the Wenatchee Valley Symphony Association's Endowment Fund through the Community Foundation of North Central Washington.
Advertising your business in the symphony program.
Bringing high quality symphonic music to the valley takes a great commitment of volunteer time and money. Ticket sales account for approximately 40% of our annual budget, with the remainder coming from cash gifts and fundraising efforts. Gifts help fill the gap between ticket sales income and the costs of bringing symphonic music to our community.
Contributions to the WVSO, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, are tax-deductible. The Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra is entering an exciting new period in its 65 year history. We invite you to join us with your increased support as we embark on this thrilling new journey. Thank you for contributing to the WVSO. We couldn’t do it without you!
