We will examine a variety of composers who were inspired by the works of the great playwright, William Shakespeare. On the program is Nocolai’s Overture to The Merry Wives of Windsor, Vaughan Williams’ Serenade to Music and Shostakovich’s Hamlet, Film Suite. Wenatchee native, pianist Jody Graves, will be featured in Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G.
