Michelle Vaughn is violinist who loves to perform and teach.  She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance and Music Education from Central Washington University and continued her studies at Central to earn a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance and Pedagogy with a Cognate in Music Education.  Michelle has performed in a variety of regional and national groups, including the El Paso Piano Trio, the Lake Chelan Bach Festival, the Yakima Symphony, and the Fairbanks Symphony in the 2014 Gumi International Music Festival in Gumi, South Korea.

  In addition to performing, Michelle has taught in a private studio setting to children and adults of all ages, coached at festivals and summer camps, and taught general music and orchestra classes at the elementary, middle-school, and collegiate levels.  Since moving to Wenatchee in May 2014, Michelle has been serving the Wenatchee Symphony as concertmaster, has begun building a private violin and viola studio, and volunteers weekly for the Wenatchee High School orchestra program.  She looks forward to developing roots in Wenatchee with her husband, two terriers, and family.
