We have some exciting news to share with you! Today, the Wenatchee Valley Symphony is joining thousands of nonprofits nationwide in raising money to help improve our local communities. Give Local America is 24 hours of nonprofit giving – and it’s your chance to make a real difference, right here in our community.
This year, we set a goal of $1,500. Contributions made May 3rd will be used to purchase music stand lights for the orchestra. Please help us reach our goal by donating $10 or more on our website and by asking your family and friends to donate too!
If we reach our goal of $1,500 we will use our new music stand lights on July 4th for the Independence Day Celebration fireworks extravaganza at Walla Walla Point Park. The public is invited to this free concert with fireworks over the Columbia River. You can support us in this project by visiting our website!
Together, we hope to raise $1,500 on Give Local America day and we’re counting on your help! Follow us on Facebook so you can share the excitement of the giving day and remember to visit our website to give today! By making a donation on May 3rd, your gift will go a long way in helping our volunteer-based orchestra share our music with the community.
Give Local America is a way for communities throughout the United States to come together and give as one. Please do not hesitate to contact the symphony at 667-2640 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
We hope to see you on July 4, 2016!
